May 8th 2013, the International conference for ‘Ethnographic tourism as a way of preservation and revival of ethno-cultural heritage, was held at the Russian Exhibition Center in Moscow.

The conference was attended by representatives of federal and regional authorities, local authorities, travel agencies, training institutes and the tourism business community, as well as representatives of national tourism administrations and international NGOs.
A presentation was given by Gabe Kozulan - Director of the Australian Cultural Center in Moscow and Olga Sobol - Director of Australian tourism company ‘Ozterra’. Their presentation on ‘The development of Australian ethno-tourism’ was of great interest to the audience.
The Australian Cultural Center in Moscow was presented a diploma from the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, Committee for Nationalities; for its contribution to the unity of native peoples and its support of indigenous cultures.
